hold immense traditional and religious significance in South Asia, marking the arrival of the spring season symbolizing renewal, rejuvenation, change and abundance. These are commemorated with great fervor and enthusiasm, each with its unique rituals, traditions, and customs.

Beyond signifying the changing seasons, these events honor the rich heritage and tradition, fostering unity, harmony, and a shared sense of identity. To embrace this, Saahas for Cause is delighted to extend an invitation to our inaugural Cultural Fest: Spring Mela!

Start Grow Scale 2.0

Saahas for Cause is a non-profit organization that strives to uplift the quality of life of the South Asian community living in Southern California. This population faces many hurdles in realizing their American dream of a good career with job satisfaction, a small business from the comfort of their home or office, or to be a highly successful entrepreneur. Lack of knowledge, resources and a push in the right direction, can be the roadblocks.

Recognizes this gap in service, Saahas for Cause decided to connect advise seekers to the leaders from the business community in Southern California. Thus, Start Grow Scale, a free annual networking event with continued year-long mentorship was born in the last year, 2022 in collaboration with TIE SoCal.

30 Saahas for Cause staff and volunteers, and 10 Saahas youth interns put in 4 months of planning, tireless outreach in the community to encourage mentors to give their time and expertise and; enroll mentees. The Start Grow Scale event that concluded on July 15th, 2023, had 53 mentors of which 4 were walk-ins and 137 mentee registrations, of which 42 were walk-ins. The attendees ranged from high school students looking for professional internships to small business owners looking to establish and expand their businesses.
