Job Title: Digital Marketing Intern
Digital Marketing Intern
Location: Remote/Hybrid | Part-time | Internship
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for social impact?
Saahas for Cause is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support our outreach and
engagement efforts through compelling content creation and social media strategy. This
role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in nonprofit
communications, public health, or community advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of digital marketing and social media
campaigns. - Develop weekly and monthly editorial calendars to highlight programs, events, and
community initiatives. - Create and publish engaging content—including blog posts, infographics, short
videos, and articles. - Write platform-specific captions that resonate with our South Asian American
audience - Design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials for digital and community use
- Support production and editing of short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels,
YouTube Shorts) - Attend weekly marketing and outreach meetings
- Contribute ideas for original content and campaign strategies to boost engagement
and reach - Conduct research on current trends and best practices in nonprofit digital marketing
- Assist in tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Basic proficiency in Canva or other design tools
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,
YouTube) - Experience or interest in creating short-form video content
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a creative mindset
- Ability to attend weekly meetings (morning availability preferred)
- Passion for community engagement and nonprofit work, especially within the South
Asian diaspora
This internship provides hands-on experience in digital marketing within the nonprofit
sector and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our mission of supporting
underserved South Asian communities.

Saahas for Cause is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2019 by a group of South Asians. It is dedicated to supporting immigrants who have taken the courageous step of starting a new life abroad. The organization recognizes the challenges and uncertainties that immigrants face and aims to aid the community.
All programs and services offered by us are designed by experts and clinicians with lived experience. The organization utilizes evidence-based data and research findings to help the South Asian immigrant community. This ensures that the support provided is practical and effective.

Case Manager Job Description
The Case Manager will be responsible for administration, coordination and implementation of the Domestic Violence /Elder Abuse Program, and awareness prevention program including outreach to promote learning, facilitate community awareness building around gender-based violence. As a Case Manager specializing in serving the South Asian community, this position will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to clients, ensuring they have access to the support and resources needed to address their social, economic, and
health-related needs. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop individualized service plans, and connect them with appropriate resources and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and individualized case management and advocacy services to all participants including but not limited to intake assessment, benefit assessment, goal setting, case plan development, progress monitoring, individual money management, educational needs, housing, and referrals.
- Conduct culturally sensitive assessments to identify clients’ social, economic, health, and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on goal setting and empowerment.
- Connect clients with community resources and services, including but not limited to housing assistance, financial assistance, healthcare services, legal aid, education, and employment resources.
- Provide advocacy and support to clients in navigating systems and accessing entitlements and benefits.
- Monitor clients’ progress towards goals, regularly reassessing needs and adjusting service plans as necessary.
- Coordinate with other service providers, including mental health professionals, healthcare providers, schools, and government agencies, to ensure holistic support for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and trainings to enhance skills and knowledge related to case management and serving the South Asian community.
- Represent Saahas at community, coalition, and networking meetings.
Qualifications:
- Work Authorization for USA required. Valid driver’s license and ability to use personal vehicle for transporting outreach collateral and materials to in-person events, as needed.
- 4-year college degree (BSW, MSW, AFMT candidates preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must speak at least one South Asian language in addition to English.
- Open to travel as and when required to the office, community events, outreach efforts.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
